take the flex user survey

Hey folks, I’m alive. :)  For various reasons I’ve been away from my blog, but I’m going to try and get some more content and discussion going here shortly.

In the meantime, can you take 15 minutes to fill out this Flex user survey? We actually pay attention to the results from these things, so it’s a good way for users to help steer the product(s). Thanks!

Great survey. I neglected to mention one of the nicest features would be if FB gave a heads up before compiling that it knows about errors. I know it knows when I’ve made an egregious mistake because it quits giving me auto-complete or automatically closing braces.

Over that an ultra-strict lint tool would save an ounce of heartache. I use JSLint in Aptana and miss warnings of logical oversights that don’t necessarily incur compile-time errors especially when indulging in dynamic typing say writing a Flash proxy.

@Jon – thanks for the suggestions. I’d like to improve FB’s error indications, but I’m not sure when it’ll happen. Definitely feel free to open a bug and pass it around for voting.
